In the Future position, the card is naming the specific quality of life that becomes possible once the project moves from imagination to action. People who have been avoiding a defining project describe the period after starting it as a relief that they did not expect — less anxious, more present, less haunted by the unfinished version of themselves the project represents.
The practical work is small. Spend two hours this week on the project. Not planning. Not researching. Two hours of actually doing the first concrete action the project requires.
